When I open my Q2 Monochrom DNGs in Photoshop or Lightroom via Adobe Camera Raw I note that lens correction has been applied automatically.
When I compare the DNGs to their corresponding JPEGs I clearly see that the JPEGS are more highly corrected. In terms of barrel and pincushion distortion, my JPEGs are much truer. For example, the front of a house in one of my DNGs seems to bulge much more than it does in the JPEG.
Why aren't my DNGs as corrected as their corresponding JPEGs?
