Ricoh GR-D (I,II,III,IV): Post your photos!

So, the GR-D (v. 1) has been one of those cameras that I have bought and sold twice. Each time I enjoyed using it for its loose shooting abilities and general snapshots. However, I ended up selling it both times to help fund more film.
Blah blah blah...
Okay, now I just bought a GRD III because I no longer have a (working) film scanner and would like to get a real photoblog going where I can actually post the photos I took within the same week of shooting them.

Let's see your GR-D photos from all versions. If you can include the version of the camera you used, it would be great but not necessary. I'll start us off with a few snaps of mine. Nothing special, but I need to post something if I am going to start a thread right?

Original Ricoh GRD. All the subway pictures at 2038.cc were also taken with the GRD. All shot in JPEG, often at ISO 800, no noise reduction whatsoever - I like the look. My all-time favorite camera along with the Hexar AF.

really great series anders. love the look. were these straight B&W preset jpegs out of the GR-D? or shot in colour jpeg then converted to B&W or shot RAW then converted?

Great shots andersju!
I agree about this camera and the Hexar AF. They are two cameras I used to own twice (both!), and am now purchasing again...

Here are some more from my old v.1 GR-D:

Some nice shots - I really like your B&Ws Andersju!

I have seen people raving about this camera, but usually with accompanying blah photos - these make me much more interested in this camera. (I admit I haven't done web searches for good stuff )

It looks like the original GRD holds its own, no?

Ironic that the pictures in this one thread are better than those in most Leica M threads

I don't know. Maybe. However, anyone can take a decent photo with this camera. Even your aunt Sally from Iowa. That is why shooting the Leica M is much more rewarding.

Certainly more rewarding in the sense that's it more of a challenge to take a properly focused picture with a Leica M in fasting-moving situations. Which is fun, sometimes, but I often prefer the GRD when it's all about the picture rather than the process. Also, for me, the fact that the GRD is practically silent in most of my shooting situations makes it superior to the Leica for candids. Many of my favorite images would have been impossible with a Leica M and its comparatively loud shutter.

Good. Then we're agreed.
I just bought both the GR-D (original) and the GR-D III (both for $450 total brand new!) and will have to decide which to keep... hmmm
