I have come across this webpage completely by accident when I pasted the word "drahtauslöser" in the address window of my browser (instead of eBay) :

So I found out that it is not jut a webpage about cable releases - it is actually a producer of them (full name is: Gebr. Schreck Feinmechanik). I quickly found out that their products are reasonably priced, so I will probably order a few soon.
As today a source of reasonable cable releases is not easy to locate and the market in Europe seems dominated by one or two producers, I thought this link might be of general interest. I can only warn that as of now I have no experience with this webpage - which is also in english.
so - just a drop to the sea of always needed accessories ...
