When analog related supplies from B&H show up with mildew on them.

Most likely: Both.

But since everything that happens regarding film or related accoutrements (used prices, cinematography, an emulsion being created or discontinued) is dissected ad nauseam I thought the moldy box that UPS brought today must have deeper meaning.
