Mine is on it's way over from Sweden and I'm very much looking forward to it's arrival. I've had the 1.2 & 1.8 in the past, loved the 1.8 but (stupidly) gave it away whilst I never really liked the look of the 1.2.

Looking at the pics posted and from what I've heard over the years I'm getting itchy feet waiting.

+1 for Roland's Yosemite shot.

My new (to me, obviously) Canon 50mm 1.4 arrived this morning just as I was leaving. So here are two of the first shots i've taken with it earlier today.

Hans, its a lovely lens...thank you!

Toward Holland:

Beach Play:

The pics are nothing special as I was really just playing around, checking each aperture etc etc but I'm very impressed with the look of it. A keeper methinks!

sold mine tho .. I couldn't stand that my cheap Jupiter-8 is much sharper (even at f/4) also 50mm is a bit too narrow for me
bokeh is indeed creamy.

Just developed my first roll with my new M4-P and Canon 50mm f1.4 LTM combo, I must say, this may be the only 50 I need.

Here's an old one from a 1952 Canon II (if I remember right) and the f/1.4 lens. Love that lens.

SFO International Terminal last week. Shot with Canon P and the 50/f1.4, 4x6 print from long-expired Fuji Professional 400H scanned on an awful Epson all-in-one, converted to B&W in Photoshop. After all that, I kind of like it.
