SLRs - the unRF For those of you who must talk about SLRs, if only to confirm they are not RF.

All input much appreciated.

I assume you have read all the reviews out there?

There is a VERY detailed review on DPReivew.com, which should answer just about every question you have.

Thanks bugmenot - yes, I think I have read every review out there, but they all include very brief usage. Dpreview is nice for science, not for actual photographer use. Since the Foveon sensors are very different from other sensors (I used to have a DP1 and are currently enjoying a DP2) post processing is very important. So I am looking for someone (outside the dpreview staff) that have actual long time experience.

I have tried the SD15 and here are a two points to consider:

- Dark, tiny finder (no contest to a mid range DSLR, far worse than a film slr or rangefinder)
- stuck with Sigma SA mount (lenses are often more expensive than the same Sigmas for Nikon / Canon and resale value is sad...)

Good info on the finder.
I am aware that it probably is a sunk cost upon arrival ;-)
