very good story about why & how a photo series plus some incredible photos

read the text about why the photographer decided to shoot this series, then watch the video about him shooting it, and wrap it up by watching a slide slow of the actual photos. It is about dancers from the Cuban National Ballet photographed around the City of Havana. I must meet this photographer on my next visit. BTW, this is the real Cuba.

caution: contains nothing about boken, lenses, or cameras; just excellent photography

Okay...I'm not alone in this thinking...

Very nice photographs...interesting way he got into doing this project...I also love the fact that even without a camera he was shooting in his head...

Maybe the lesson here is that he did not begin as a photographer looking for something to photograph. Instead he fell in love with the Havana National Ballet, wanted others to appreciate it, so bought a camera and began photographing the dancers in various locations around Havana.
