Eye-popping Kodak Ektar colors on this one, although I find it fickle stuff. Get your exposure a bit off and the colors get real weird. This kind of saturation is also not really my cup of tea, but for this shot i think it works. Hasselblad 500 C/M with Zeiss Planar 80mm f2.8.

What an amazing thread! I've been following it since I joined and now I finally have some scans to contribute. Went on tour with my friends band to help out and took some photos while at it...

These are the lowest res scans from the lab on various films shot and developed at box speed. I've only been shooting since Feb. so I'm still trying all the different films I can to see what I like and there's probably some work to be done but I'm still really excited so far!

64 pages, wow, somebody write to all the MF film manufactuers!

I just bought my only 35mm camera and whilst the portability is great, you just can't beat MF. It's not just the detail it's the silky smooth tone changes, the shallow DoF. I love it.

I have a Hasselblad 500cm with the old 80mm Zeiss Planar C, it's got a vintage soft aspect to it, even if it can be a nightmare to focus wide open!

I'd love to get a MF RF, either a folder like the Ensign Autorange 1620 or Super Ikonta or if I was really going crazy I'd get a Mamiya 6.

I haven't got round to scanning yet, but here are some lo-res lab scans from the Planar:

Portra 400NC

Fuji something or other

Tri-X - what else?

Portra NC of some kind

Just beautiful! The other roadie with the band I toured with was a good friend of mine who shot 34 rolls of 120/220 on a Mamiya 6. I can't wait to see how it turns out but he won't even begin to start developing for another 2 weeks, the suspense is killing me!

Thanks for the kind words. Its Velvia 50, pp'd in Silver Efex 2.

I much rather prefer the original 6x7 trannie. I get really disenchanted when I scan a MF trannie. I just happened to like the B&W conversion.

Color scanning is a real challenge, most I do for that reason is b+w.

Fuji GF670. Thought I had sold this camera but the guy who took it couldn't afford it so I got it back. Missed it while it was away.
