newbie here so pardon if this has been posted. i am shooting with an m6 ttl (.58) with trix at box speed.
i've had a 28 elmarit (last version before the asph) for about a year and took it on vacation with me to the middle east. i really got to like that lense and figured out how to shoot with it in broad daylight. street, people, some architecture etc. great lens.
what really struck me was how contrasty that lens was. i think that's what made me really dig it and i don't think i will ever travel without it even though it is rather heavy.
recently a friend at the local photo academy let me use his 50 collapsible elmar m, you know those tiny black ones that got discontinued not too long ago. besides the weight and size what really struck me, again, once i scanned my negatives was the contrast. very similar to the elmarit.
is this something that any of you have have noticed? sorry i don't have anything to show yet as i am the midst of getting all that going.
anyways, i was just curious, that's all
