Might be a good topic for a poll!

I'll wait for the floating element, aspherical, apochromatic version for $7500. Enjoy!

What kind of strap do you have for it?

A Gordy wrist strap maybe?

Heck, get a 1.2 version. It's faster and you'll always arrive at your destination about a third of a stop ahead time. People appreciate punctuality.

I see no reason to call you a retard. I think it's a good idea and I encourage you to do it yourself!

I've actually started thinking about taking apart some cheap enlarger lens and use the blades as you suggested... Guess that can wait 'til I find a suitable watch :-)

/ Joakim

... wait a minute... There must be watches available that fit inside the barrel of an enlarger lens, right? A strap holding the lens and you have the ultimate analog photographer/printer accessory ;-)

I hope the glass is multicoated, if not you will need to get a hood.

I like the watch, it's a bit of fun, and we all need more fun in our lives (well most anyway)

Whether I bought one or not would depend on how I was feeling. Some days I'd reckon it looked like a great bit of (relatively) inexpensive fun; another day, I might think that if I didn't waste so much money on (relatively) inexpensive fun, I'd have more money for the things I'd really like. But I can't see getting into a fight about it, either way.

Cheers,

R.
