Another MP or M6. Something with different controls will really give you fits when you need to go fast.

M5.
First Leica with TTL, 25 years before they managed to do it again. Last of the hand built Leicas. A Lwica masterpiece that was poorly marketed and arrived at a time when pros had migrated to Nikon and CNon SLRs.

While the ignorance about the M5 puzzles me, I'm happy that it keeps prices low. You can pick up a beauty for $1000.

invest the money in loads of film and free-time/travel to put the MP to good use. good pictures are priceless compared to another metal jewel around

My suggestion would be an SLR with a 50mm macro and a 105mm f2.5/2.8. The MP won't do close ups or macro easily and is not great with a telephoto. I would add a plain prism Nikon F.

Totally the M8 - i run an M6 TTL / M8 combo, which in many ways in the same. That, or the M2.
