How to get rid of extra classified thumbnails.

I had a terrible time trying to get Paypal to work when I listed my camera. Now I have three thumbnails up, and the first two are bogus and don't take you to the ad. How to kill them? I always wondered why duplicates happen to other people. Now I know.

Likely a job for the mods but one that is often overlooked. I've seen duplicate thumbnails of ads that bounced several times before they went through on many occasions. Maybe something can be programmed into the forum software to prohibit it?

EDIT: This only happens on the front page, in the classifieds it only shows the successfull posting.

Eventually the dummy ones dropped out. Apparently they time out after an hour or less. The glitch occurred (for me) with Paypal, and apparently not with RFF. It accepted my password, but then wouldn't let me confirm the payment. Or maybe the glitch is between RFF and Paypal.

Thanks, Joe. I guess it's no auto-timeout, then. Maybe it is fixed, since I put up another ad yesterday that went right though.
