Which M adaptor

What are the benefits of the Fuji -Leica M adaptor over third party ones such as the Kipon? I will be using Voigtlander lenses if that makes a difference. Which adapters are people using and what do you like/dislike about them? I played with an x pro and fuji adaptor at a shop yesterday with my Voigtlander 35 2.5, and I know this is really fickle, but the silver ring on the front of the adaptor really put me off, as does the price..

hawk's factory helicoid. i had one for the nex-7 and thought it was so good i bought another one for my in-queue xe-1. they allow very, very close focus with a quick twist of the adaptor.

If (and when) you plan to order the hawk's factory helicoid, make sure you order the latest version, as each version sports minor improvements over the previous.

The main advantage of the Fuji adaper is the ability to set and store lens characteristics. Including distortion correction et al. Next time you mount the same lens it will auto correct, so you don't need to in post processing.

I agree with porktaco. I have a knock off of a hawk's helicoid, it kicks ass and cost less then half the price. Either way a Helicoid adapter is the way to go!
