Great shot. You must mean ISO 320 unless this is a 10 stop ND filter shot.

Thanks for the comment. Actually that shot of Buster the hound dog was taken at ISO 3200 and I brought out the highlights with post processing in LR5. One of the reasons I was attracted to the MM was it's low light capability. I have made many a fine image at 6400 ISO with this camera..

Apologies Steve. You sure know more LR5 than me. Great finish for such a high ISO image, even with the Monochrom. I should try some higher ISO stuff. I just got what I needed at ISO 1250 the other day: very unambitious of me.

Unintended selfie , I didn't realize the reflection at time of exposure ... my focus was somewhere else.

I do like that reflection!

I had something similar last week near Blackfriars Road, and I waited for ages, but, just as it was settling down, every time, a car drove through, setting it rippling again. Ah well, maybe you had more patience than me, and that's certainly a photographic skill!

Nice - photographically speaking, at least! Meteorologically speaking, of course, not so much.

As it happens, it's rather like the weather that we're having in the UK at present, although - on second thoughts - even to mention this is no more revelatory than a reference to the habits of bears in the woods... .

I agree - depending upon one's photographic objectives, and also one's own mood - but yes, I find that photography in rainy conditions can be very rewarding.

Slowly recovering... here are some new photos at my site just posted today:

http://www.xdayv.com/the-typhoon-yolanda-aftermath/

-----

It's been a really nice feeling to rekindle the rangefinder experience, it had been more than a month I couldn't shoot with it because of what the typhoon has left us last November 8. I had to relegate the photography tasks to Micro 4/3s as the security in our place (Tacloban) is not that safe until now. When I had the opportunity to shoot in Manila, I made sure I brought the rangefinder.

Thank You! It was getting dark fast and the background was poor so I opened it up to F2, lens is a Zeiss C-Sonnar 50mm set as a summilux II in the camera. I like this combo while I walk around the city (San Francisco) since its smaller and lighter than a Summilux ASPH.

I'm also glad Dave is doing better and survived with cameras that terrible storm.

Allen and Jim, thanks for the kind thoughts... yes it has been a helluva experience the last month or so. Slowly we are getting back up amidst the huge challanges ahead. It's a nice feeling to be able to check out this thread again. All the best!
