I've been considering a nice 35mm film prime point & shoot and finally grabbed a clean Nikon L35AF2 / L35AD2 One Touch via ebay today. Looking forward to shooting a roll through this

What should I shoot? Portra 160, Superia 400 or HP5 400?

A Nikkor 2.8cm f3.5 in LTM. All chrome, very clean, $400 from e bay. I have a Canon 28mm f3.5 which is a fine lens but I have always wanted the Nikkor 2.8cm. First roll is hanging up to dry and it looks great. Joe

9x rolls of Fujicolor C200 film. Some say it is the same as the Superia 200 (non xtra), others say it reminds them of Reala (doubt it). Guess we will find out.

Just found a 180mm f/9 Carl Zeiss Jena Apo-Tessar for almost no money. I jumped in knowing nothing about this lens and can't find much info on the web. Can't wait to hang it on the front of my 4x5.

A lovely Pentax ME Super in mint condition. I doubt that she has had more than one roll of film through her before I received her... a rare gem indeed!

I bought an Ansco Super Regent:

You wouldn't think she was about 60 years old. She is a a rather convetional girl as she has the traditional almost solid grease in the focusing ring, but if I was a boy camera, I'm sure I'd think "Phwooarr, look at the 'finders on that!"

EDIT: The ruddy 'film reminder' thingy on the rewind dial won't turn, so I can't change the film speed or film type which means it's stuck on '160 ASA', which I think is for B+W film of 160 asa. So I've decided to use this one just for mono film and my super solinette for colour as its 'film reminder' thingy can be changed (not without a stubborn struggle) and it's set to 'Colour ND'. I know that seems a bit daft, but while I want to use them, I don't want to risk over-using them and so limiting the film type I use with each one will lessen the amount I use them and thus lessen the chance of over-working these old codgers.

My first AI-S in 35 years, the 800/8. (Insert panting emoji here). With 9 elements, this Nikkor should handily outperform the Leica Telyt-S and its triplet. Handily might be the wrong word for lenses of half a meter or longer and, no, I don't plan to mount it onto my Barnack!

Got a mint Sigma DP3 Merrill to go with DP2. Always wanted to try the 3. Losing some of the love for Fuji other than X70 and X100 series. Enjoying small cams more these days.

Some negative sleeves and a copy of Magnum Contact Sheets. Took me a while to find a copy of that book at a reasonable price.

A membership to the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
And...
25lb of white clay, some sculpture tools, a few sticks of hard and soft charcoal, a couple knead-able erasers, a gum eraser, and a large pad of paper.

I bought a bag for my: Agfa Super Solinette and its e.r.c., an Agfa Lucimeter S and its case, a leather case with a metal lens hood and UV filter in. This all fits in rather snugly.

I was going to name the make and model of the bag, but they don't pay me to advertise.

Olympus Tough TG-5 cameras

Olympus Tough TG-5. Going on a fishing and snorkeling trip to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Needed a camera that can take underwater photos. Haven't used it underwater yet, but it does take good quality pics on dry land. Also got one for my son who is involved in a biodiversity research project in Costa Rica. These cameras are selling very well according to multiple dealers I have spoken to and are frequently backordered, as their ruggedness and underwater capabilities (50 ft) are not duplicated by smart phones. Just the kind of camera that Olympus needs to keep developing and selling to stay in business!
