Hi Vick,

I don't remember them, but I always went to Goulds on Bank Street, 83 I think the address was?
I bought my first darkroom set-up there, along with several camera's and lenses over the years.
Moved back to Vancouver in '79, just after Goulds closed down. The Camera Trading Company must opened sometime after that?

A loss for Ottawa. Always a fun place to browse.

It was a little gem of a shop. It will definitely be missed. Bought a Rollei 35SE from there last time I was in town, in November. Here's a short video which gives you a glimpse of the store and owners:

There were some great bargains to be had prior to the closure. I scored a Konica 1, MIOJ, and am running a film through it now.

I also bought, or rather traded fora Kodak Autographic, made in Canada.
Contax IIIa, Konica III, Vitessa L Ultron, Leica iiif (RD), Rollei 35, Minox B, ZI Nettar 510/2, Pentax Q, HP Photosmart 945.

If I age as well as my cameras, I'll do all right

That's a heart breaker for me , it was a favoured haunt every time I returned to
Ottawa to visit my daughters . Nothing quite like it here in the Vancouver area . Peter
