OK, let's see. Those that will mount on my M's naturally or with am adapter include:

Noctilux 1.0 with Built in hood
Summicron 2.0 (newest)
Collapsible Summicron 2.0
Elmar 2.8 (latest)
Summitar
C-Sonnar 1.5
Heliar 3.5
Collapsible Heliar 2.0

Lots of others in different mounts, including Nikon S, Contax C/Y, Contax N, Nikon F and Leica R. In short, I love 50's

You can always turn it into an AIS lens. I don't know who would do the trick but ask about and you'll find out.

There are some conversion kits out there if you keep your eyes out. I got one for my 45mm GN Nikkor not long ago.

I have 3 total, all LTM. Sold off my EF mount 50/1.8, my FD 50/1.4 and 50/1.8, and now only have my 50/1.5 Summarit and 2 different versions of the Jupiter8.

Oh, and the 52/2.8 Industar, though I've yet to use it. It was a free lens, has some scratches on the front and rear element and is also the slowest lens I have in LTM, so it never gets touched

Don't know the exact number...
As far as R are concerned, I've got quite a few Canon 50mm, like
  • 50/0.95
  • 50/1.4
  • 50/1.5
  • 50/1.8
  • 50/2.8
The 0.95 and the 1.5 being really interesting. I like the 50/2.8, too.
Then a FSU 50/2.0 (jupiter-something), a nice Wartime Zeiss sonnar, a (beaten up) summicron wetzlar and, coming to me right now, a Planar 50/2 (supposed to become my first choiche together with the Canon 50/1.5).

Then I've got a couple of 50mm for DSLR (including Canon 50/1.2).
Well, I'm quite fond of this focal length, being my first choice for every assignement

Used to have a lot. Sold most of them, yet still have a few:
M/LTM mounts:

1. M-Hexanons 50/1.2 and 50/2
2. LTM Nikkor 50/1.4
3. Industar Coll. 50/3.5
4. Nokton 50/1.5

For Canons - 50/1.4 - one EF one FD.

Thats all. (well not counting similar FL in MF or 47mm or so in Fixed lens cameras).

Took me a long time to narrow it all down, - since I like 50mm FL.

I own 2 (only 3 lenses in total, the other being a 35mm). Last Elmar 2.8 and an F1 Noctilux. Compact and light vs speed. Covers all bases and I enjoy using both. Recently returned from holiday in Lebanon and found myself using Elmar during the day and switching to the Nocti for the evening.

Mhmm. Start counting...

Carl Zeiss Jena 2/50 in Contax mount (spectacular in B/W)
2 Jupiter 8 - " -
Nikkor 1.8/50 AiS
Nikkor 2/50 Ai
Industar fo the Fed
Does the Zeiss 2/45 for the G2 count as a 50? guess not.

The great Ais 55/2.8 Micro Nikkor got stolen together with the wonderfully brassed F3 last week. Still angry

Only 5. Room to get some more

Unhappy I guess I need some therapy!

Leica mount (M and screw mount):

50 elmar ltm
Summicron 50 Canada
Summicron DR
Hexanon M 50 F2
Zeiss 50 f2
CV 50 f1.5
Jupiter 8

50 mm normal lenses for all 35 mm cameras in various mounts: >20 probably > 30

Normal lenses for all cameras in all formats from 35 mm "subminiature format" to 7x17 ultra large format: Probably > 50 total.

Obviously I am counting only prime lenses.

I guess I need some therapy!

Haziz: What therapy? Just hang around with like minded ppl and you'll feel normal....like in this forum......

Initially i thought wanting to add another 50mm to my collection (making a total of 3) was not very normal but as you can see clearly from the poll, it is clearly ABnormal to have less than 5 hahaha
