Cool I am not worthy...

...but I will keep trying.

Exploring digital black & white conversion. This time with a touch of warm tone. Fence in Gruene, Texas.

Beautiful images, some very hard work went into these and it is appreciated.

Discussions regarding film vs digital- belong in that forum, and not on the W/NW forum.

The fellow in the background. He is a painter, former dean of fine arts at the local university and cofounder along with Joe Deal of the California Museum of Photography and a longtime friend!

Thanks. What I love about this is that she actually uses the glockenspiel (which belongs to her son) when she performs on stage.

I've worked out that after looking through this thread I can't do digital black and white to save myself. There's some very good images here IMO.

Has anyone posted any black and white images from a DP-1 or DP-2 here yet?

I seem to remember seeing some in the dedicated thread for that camera that were very nice indeed and possibly the least digital looking black and whites I've ever seen here.

Thanks, mob81; the photo was captured with one of a very small handful of digital systems that I am happy with for black and white conversions and probably the only digital system that I have had even the smallest hint of regret selling.
