You can dampen mirror slap w/ Jon Goodman's higher density foam than the light seal variety to help.

That Orwo NP20 gives lovely tones. I gather it is an old German film? Is there any relation to it that is available today?

Orwo NP20 was an East-German film, available in The Netherlands in the seventies and (maybe) eighties. It was in fact a film made with pre-war Agfa technology. A very good film, but no longer available I guess.
