four more here today. Harry T ... John C (jesse1dog) ... Ted ... and Kent. All great shots.

The postal service(s) have not been as kind as they could have been, but I like the visible traces of the process: reminders that these are not just images but ones that have been mailed (and looked at by many people along the way)!

Twelve

12 so far, one better than the other. Ted, Jesse1dog, Keith, Jim, Harry, Michael, Dan, Kent, Jimmy, Kevin, Elvin and Jim (Austin). I am amazed at the quality of all of the cards. The proportion of color (3) to monochrome (9) seems to be in line with what you see in the gallery. I am excited each day to see what the mail carrier brings. What's that old song - "Hey Mr. Postman - have you got a card or letter for me?"

Looking forward to more.

Got my cards from Moo yesterday (4 days before their estimated delivery date). Loved the quality of the cards! Will definitely use their service again in the future (round 3?). Just got out of the post office and got all the stamps to ship these. One word of caution, as I found out after-the-fact. My card is in a vertical format and had addressed as such, and as a result each card costs me an extra $0.20 due to the vertical orientation.

I didn't mind since there's nothing I can do at this point, so I looked at it as a donation to the USPS since they've been really good in my experience and they are in financial trouble. But, just thought I'd pass the info along to avoid sticker shock for those of you that have yet send your cards out. This was my first time so I should've asked around, I suppose.

Very interetsing to learn about the extra cost for vertical images. Why couldn't you write the address horizontally on the back?

Raid, I designed the back using Moo so wrote in all the info that I wanted to put in there in a vertical format thinking that it'll be more consistent (vertical image, vertical back...)

It's really not a deal-breaker but did throw me for a loop for a few seconds in the post office.

Got 3 more great ones today. Here's a layout guide. Not sure if it's up to date or applicable everywhere, but seems logical to me: http://images.ebsco.com/pob/ebscomed...yout_Guide.pdf

Not sure exactly how many cards I have so far, but I got 7 in yesterday's mail! I think I am at about a dozen.
And I have narrowed my card to two photos. Will decide today which one.
Got the fountain pen inked and ready for addressing!
I have not quite decided if I'm printing the cards myself or if I will use Moo--the cards folks have sent me that Moo printed are very nicely done and I am slightly shy of 60 cards in the paper I used last time so I need to order something. Either more postcard stock from Red River or the postcards them selves from Moo...

Err, "round 3"? let's get this one done first!

Thank you again, everyone, for your enthusiasm!
Rob

I finally have received the postcards from MOO. The cards look very nice, and there is one typo, which is minor. CAIRO ir given as CAIRP. Now I must work on labeling the cards.

Got also three more cards.

I am very impressed by the quality of the MOO postcards. The print is great and the weight of the cards is high. It seems that for the same cost I could have printed sixty different cards. Right?

You are right, Raid. When I find the time I will do a selection of 30 images and order it again through MOO. This will lead to 2x30 different postcard I will have for private use!

Three more in this morning's post - Frank's motel, Helen's beach, & Jason's tree. So far I've gotten eighteen. I've mailed 35 or so. The rest will go out on Monday.
