I'm in the process of buying a Konica M-Hexanon 35mm f2 Lens from another RFF Member. There have been so few for sale lately that neither one of us has a clear idea of what it should sell for.

The lens is close to Mint, with hood, pouch, caps and box.

Any imput on what would be a fair price for both of us would be appreciated.

If you have purchased one lately, What did you pay for it?

Thanks in Advance for your help

the last one i saw on ebay went for $742 in mint condition with all the other stuff. hope that helps!

in Austria and our neighbour Germany these lenses trade normally for 350 - 450 Euro in private sales

I sold mine for 500 euros, it's optically an amazing lens, very similar to Leica's pre-ASPH of the 80's, this one's just a bit too long.

I bought mine for 650 USD today. The lens is reported to be in EXC+ condition. It came with a box, no hood. I assume that everything up to 750 would be fair.

Congratulations on an excellent purchase! You will not regret it! :)

To think I bought mine for $575 in 2004... From Kevin Mendenhall, actually. The lens is no longer as mint as it was when I received it. I love it and use it a lot. You will too!

Not yet. It's coming from Jolly Old England and is probably stuck in customs. I'll be sure to post some when I get it.

I also picked up a M-Hexanon 28mm from the same RFF Member.
I've now got a complete set. 28-35-50 & 90.
I still have my 50mm ZI C-Sonnar for it's beautiful look, but all the rest are M-Hexanons.

I'm going to do a set with all of the Hexanons on the M8 when I take a trip down the California coast in mid September
