First, got an R2C because I had a questionable Contax IIa with 25, 50 and 85 lenses and wanted something more reliable.

Second, got an R3M because I really, really wanted something good to go with the VC 40 f/1.4. The R3M arrived, of course, with the 50 f/2 Heliar Classic which was an incredible bonus. As a result-- forget the 40; the 50 is too good.

In the meantime, also got the Topcon-style Bessaflex M42 SLR with the 50 f/1.4. That's a whole other topic. All of these cameras came from CameraQuest.

ok so I voted for an L which is what brought me to RF. It came with a CV 15mm and it was the lens that I had GAS for., and will not sell. I love the simplicity of the L and the ability to see the meter from above the camera. I added Cosina branded early 25/4 not long after and mostly use the L with colour transparency film.

...and then came serious GAS thanks to this place : hex 50/2 lens ..wait months for the R3a while agonising over whether to buy an R2, added a Minolta Cle 40, cle 90, couple of jupiters and a gorgeous cv 75. Just recently a komura 28/3.5.

I got into Rfs for simplicy and GAS has tainted that.... probably time to work up the courage for a purge. 2 bodies 3 focal lengths really should suffice- the rest is clutter, but I can't work out which to drop - sound familar?.
