Amedeo classic Nikon or Contax external mount rangefinder lenses to the
Leica M240 series for digital visoflex focusing.
Why you might ask? This adapter has some interesting unique advantages.
#1 For the first time it allows you to accurately focus the 50/1.1 Nikkor in Nikon rangefinder mount on your Leica M240. The rear elements on those lenses is too large to allow mounting with rangefinder coupled adapters on a Leica M mount body. I was surprised to find the rear element of the 35/1.8 Nikkor in Nikon RF mount too large to mount on this adapter.
#2 For the first time you can use ONE adapter for either Nikon or Contax
rangefinder lenses instead of separate adapters for each mount.
#3 Take note this flexibility ONLY works with Leica M 240 family cameras
offering EVF focusing - OR adapted via the necessary M mount adapter to other
EVF focusing cameras including the Sony NEX/Alpha, Fuji-X, Olympus or Panasonic
M43, and the digital Leica SL.
#4 A few very deeply set lenses still won't work, such as the super rare
21/4 Nikkor in Nikon rangefinder mount.
