For sale is a very good user Plaubel Makina 67. The body has some brassing, scratches and a few dings, but overall quite nice. The excellent Nikon 80mm f2.8 lens is flawless, with no scratches, haze or fungus. Rangefinder patch is strong and speeds are spot on. The meter is a problem, it lights up but is only occasionally accurate, not trustworthy. Frankly, I never found these older camera meters that useful anyway, and always use sunny 16 or a handheld meter for much better results. If you really want a working meter, Plaubel will still repair them, and Horst Wenzel here in Vancouver also has Plaubel wires and can do it for around $300 CDN. The other issue is a crack at the edge of the rear viewfinder noted in the last photograph, but it does not obscure anything in the framelines and you really have to look for it when looking through the viewfinder to notice it. Otherwise the viewfinder for what you need to take a photo is nice and clear. Despite these few flaws it still makes beautiful 6x7 negatives. I have priced it with these issues in mind, must sell to fund more expensive digital crap. Comes with a generic Nikon lens cap. $1450 USD and $25 for shipping to Canada and the US.
