Our Street Photography . . . Post yours!

Thought it is a good idea to revive an open thread on Street Photography.
Where RFF shooters can their own street shots.

The street in all facets, rogue, polished, crowded, lonely, in movement, still, backlit, chicklit, brutal . . you name it.
Maybe just plain B&W?

Really, I can't say I am a Street Photographer. Rather a shooter on the streets. Not daring or impolite enough I'm afraid. Still I observe. Others are more in the flux. Show they get the feeling of the street, being on the level of the people.

Anyway I invite everyone to post stuff, and please make some comments on what makes it great.

Showed this one before in the Digital B&W thread, but it fits here nicely: Reykjavik

Same camera and film as above.

And three-peat. These and others are part of me documenting my small city's odd, weird, declining downtown with my camera. They're at my eponymous website or at www.reservedatalltimes.com (end of plug)

This is a very strong photo. And its cool that you didn't crop it. The dark foreground works with the light background.

I like the somber nature of the man, that for me perfectly matches the tone of the three small trees in the middle of the small park.

Some peoples definition of street photography differs from mine.... Anyway, here is one that fits my definition:

Sony A900 | Sigma 180/5.6 | f/5.6 | 1/25s | 1600iso

Alberti 11-16-2015 00:08

Addy, This is my take of a street, people, unknowns:

I like their similar gait and walking direction, it is a little bit of aesthetics I think.

Funny lens.

Alberti 11-16-2015 00:12

And this one is a bit rogue, because I kept framing after this mother and daughter entered my frame.

I like the kind of 'pop' it gives.
