I found the noise banded more on the M8.2 than the M9 when at high ISOs. In general I would limit the M8.2 to ISO1250 but the M9 I will go higher.

Otherwise I felt they were very similar.

For 35mm my choice is probably XTOL 1+2 or DDX.
