My understanding is that backlit sensors have all the area for photocells because all the circuitry is on the opposite side. This leaves a lot of area for the light collectors.

GSN and GT stopped working.

Both of them just set away for a few months then I return to them and they are both dead. Light meters don't work. Checked battery which registers correct voltage. What gives?:mad:

Do you wear glasses? I have both a GT and GSN and I have to kinda look up in the range finder to easily see the arrows. They are bright enough except in bright sun but in the upper end of the finder.

btgc, I just measured the depth of my GT hood and it is 27mm front to back. It is the solid hood, no slots, on the 55mm threaded lens.
Works fine, no vignetting.

I took a short strip of used film, licked it and stuck it into the canister, pulled back and out it came with the rewound film attached to it. Slickest and easiest thing I have seen.
