With spotting a print, do not paint on the Spotone, you dab tiny points and slowly build up the density until it matches. It can take a very long time, but the results can be imperceptible.

Hmm, I wonder if the shutter is not getting fully set when you crank it.
I had a Yashica that had this problem ... I found it was caused by a bent lever that would not fully push down the shutter...

If the f1.2 is like the f1.8, the aperture is coupled to the dial by a short arm, make sure the arm fits into the slot.

I like the size of the P ... even though it is not much smaller ... but the viewfinder sucks with a 35mm lens.

For some strange reason the 7 seems much bigger in the hand.
