The Hi-Rez what you see is what get LCD helps--you can see exactly what you've got when using legacy glass--DOF, everything.

When using LAEA1 and the excellent cheap sony "easy choice" however, the aperture stays open untill the shutter is depressed, so you do not get a "live view", though brightness does vary with manual settings.

The sub 200usd sony DT 35mm F/1.8 is fast and wicked sharp--very light also.

Thanks for the comment on the F1.8. I wonder if we can look forward to an E version of both it and the 30mm f2.8?
