The Q sensor is 24x36mm (i.e. old school full frame).
There are some built in crop options for 35 and 50mm, if I'm not mistaken.
Totally unnecessary in my book, I never used them. There is no square crop option.

I cropped this after the fact. The Q does not have native square feature.
