Can someone explain the Pentax 67 bayonet/screw filter situation? I have a 105mm/2.4 which has a bayonet mount lens cap. Does that mean I can only use bayonet mount filters? Or would a screw thread filter in 67mm also work?

You may want to check with Photon42 over on the Pentax 67 Gas! thread. He used a screw-in close focus filter on his 105/2.4.

While the bayonet Pentax filters are convenient, if you have them, standard screw-in filters fit and work fine.

Barry, Old thread, I know.

I offer a sailor's (who likes pics) view. "If it looks good; it is good. If it looks bad; it is bad!"
