Boathouse pic has a nice surreal feel to it. Good seeing.

Given the controversy over this lens I'm surprised there isn't more posts in this thread!

Very good stuff here,
Dave, "I take it personally" as I'm thinking to get a Nokton for me ...
Thanks Roland for starting and all the others for posting,

CV 1.4/35 SC is my all around lens since I got it. It's good enough for all my needs and certainly has it's character which heavily overweights any drawbacks it might have (e.g. the distortion to name). Here are three picks from my prictures taken with it:

And you can see little more at flicker

It's a sculpture with plastic brains by Katharina Fritsch in the SFMOMA, Jon. The dogs are from her, too, BTW.

Cheers,

Here is some creative use of the Nokton's barrel distortion, at least I feel so ....

Having lived 3 years in Ticino, I'm a Botta fan (SFMOMA again).

It is really a Nokton on a M8. You discovered some evil postprocessing
Made a custom frame in photosphop elements and brushed away the black colour for the notches. Now I can load the frame and overlay a photo with it.

Jon, you can't say that. Everybody knows that the Nokton 35/1.4 is not a good lens and has horrible bokeh!...

Here are a couple of new ones on BW400CN; just some friends at the ball game:

Shows you nicely what the lens can do, IMO. This is the MC version.
