Everybody said it already!
Great images, full of the greatness of NYC.
A truly cohesive statement, simply inspiring.
Film a valuable working memory keeper.
Look forward to more..

Best thread I've seen for ages, Helen. Someone very dear to me lives in Manhattan, so it's absorbing for me to see glimpses of her neighbourhood. She visits CP often and has a great eye herself, but prefers colour—these park images you've shared are so good in black and white—I loved Bruce Davidson's photo essay from CP for this reason, too.
Cheers,
Brett

Thanks, Helen...it is fun and revealing to see street photography by a native rather than a visitor, be it NYC, Paris or Davenport, Iowa.

"Life walking the Streets" was a good title choice. Probably better that than "Life as a Streetwalker" ;-)

Loving that first lacy pic from Central Park!

btw, your pal Elliot Erwitt is showing here at the Ransom Center, UT-Austin, running the rest of this year. Great opportunity for those of us in Central Texas.

It's a great track, and that's a great line from it - especially, of course, with the irony that he, sadly, can only 'picture' it.

Most of your shots that I've seen on RFF are just awash with atmosphere. You do some great stuff... happy to see a few more, when you're ready!

If drinking fountains are back, can public restrooms be far behind?
Hope the return of these amenities one day reaches the outer boroughs...
