You're right... the M mount is collapsible. I got confused between the two versions.

There is a Nickel LTM version of the 50/2 Heliar I believe.

There are few 5cm/2 Sonnars collapsible in LTM (and respective SK lenses).

And there is an LTM Amedeo adapter to mount the collapsible Contax / J8 versions.

There is a FED 50mm/f2.

The Hexanon 50/2.4 is a little slower but a very cool lens. And there is the Hektor 50/2.5.

I couldn't find a reference to a collapsible nickel Heliar, just a rigid.

Limiting this list to f/2 or faster, 50mm, LTM collapsible

No Topcor, or others?

Jupiter?

You are right. Regarding Jupiter (SK lens) and Sonnar see attached.

Note also that the Serenar came in both 50/1.9 and 50/2.

Was it in LTM?

Or was it for the Foca camera?

Or was it a one off conversion?

French optician SOM Berthiot did produce a 50mm collapsible lens in LTM but at a f2.8 f stop and in very small quantities.

Late starter for a European optical maker, but the renowned French optical firm Angenieux did make factory fitted lenses in LTM, like the spectacular Angenieux 50mm f1.5, but none were in collapsible form.

Now that I'm back home on my desktop, it appears the Foca is not LTM. So scratch that one.

If you really want a 50/2 collapsible lens in LTM, why bother with the Canon Serenar 50/1.9 when Canon made a real 50/2 collapsible Serenar lens in LTM? Look it up!

Thanks David, the Fuji was listed in the first post. Which is what prompted this thread in the first place, as I acquired one last week quite by accident, never knowing it existed.

Did you receive yours?

Still looking for historical data on these...

Reviving old thread, but for posterity's sake, since I used to own one:

Canon 50/2 LTM, Epson R-D1s @ ISO 200, f/2 ~1m

Surprised no one mentioned one of my favorites;
5CM/ F2.8 Elmar, although many more in M mount than LTM.
