This project is very interesting, I am curious to see what else comes out of it, and to see what RFF members make with it once they start to arrive.

The Line Bear mousepad from zaurus' images is really making my day though.

It would be a FIRST if Mr. Zhou can make a Summicron-like 35mm lens in the
Leica thread mount that focuses to 0.7meters. He did mention the possibility.
I want one and will keep watching this thread!

Yes, this is a huge thread, but a 0.7m close focus LTM replica was discussed earlier. I hope they decide to do 0.7m instead of just 1m.

It also has Line characters (maybe Sally) on it, I think (at least from the last image that's what it looked like).

This was the closest that I could find but the color isnít the same. The links I found suggest maybe it started with candy in it.

Welcome zaurus!

Lovely tonal palette with the Kodak Cine Films! I enjoyed those.

I may try both the 250 and 500 and have it processed by a ECN-2 lab just over the border from me.

On following of me (the first black paint copy in Macau S.A.R.), on behalf of my friend - Pazu Ng who had got the first silver chrome copy in Macau S.A.R.:
I am so honour to receive a Summicron 35/2 replica (Chrome Edition), which is the first one in Macau S.A.R. .
It is such a fine product with elegant and elaborate finishing. I am especially fond of its metal cover, where you can find a carved-out structure of Old 8-Element that is really eye-catching.
Being made from pure copper, its weight also makes me feel great.
The moment when you are attaching the lens to a camera body, specially that sound of ďclickĒ of infinity lock, what an amazing experience!
We can feel the passion and love of the artisans who ďcopiedĒ this replica. With non-stop improvement and development, I believe a perfect product will be born in the future.
Letís wait for product testing.

Wow, that is exquisite, stunning chrome finish (the same as my choice). The only drawback I can see is that I might not want to use it to preserve its beauty!

On behalf of my friend - Pazu Ng:
Mr. Zhou, the leader of the project, crafted replicas of Summicron 35/2 with heart.
The lens looks stunning when pairing with Leica M2.
Today, during my lunch break, I try half roll of black and white films. I decide to measure light manually, as the light meter isnít here with me.
I am looking forward to processing the first roll of films.
Rollei RPX400
Let me share with you next time.

As somebody already mentioned... I have never been so eager to get a bill. I check my email obsessively to make sure I'm not missing the invoice!

Once again, I plea with Kevin to please give a heads up on RFF once the invoices are sent internationally.

For those in Asia who already have received the lens, can you please explain how the invoicing works? Who's the sender? Kevin or Google Forms?
