Thank you!

1, 2 and 5 are part of my ongoing struggle to get to grips with 35mm as a focal length, I'm trying to shoot as much of it as possible in order to get a comfort level with it.

1 and 2 are off the same roll, part of a project I'm doing about an interesting street near me (one of those streets where you can find all kinds of life).

The final one is obviously not a street shot, so I was more comfortable calling it "environmental" even if they were only passing through the corridor to the stage.

Vince, what great work in portraying the character of public personalities. Not only do these superbly exemplify the primary criteria for 'environmental portraits' as I understand them (a life/work context for the character, which in turn always necessitates revealing more of the character than a headshot), but they're permeated with empathy and not burdened by any stylistic mannerism calling more attention to the photographer than the subject.

I'm displaying my favorite, where the peculiar cock of John Waters' head (from which have issued so many peculiar and transgressive cinematic narratives) is echoed by the sculpture to the right. Great work, thank you.

Many thanks Robert -- I don't get the opportunities like I used to (as far as photographing 'public personalities'), but I'm thankful for the ones that I've had.
