Photography Puns!

Seems I've Tessar the limits of the grouchy and humorless folks on the "Fuji film price hike in the offing" thread. They want to stay pre-Zeiss-ly focused on Fujifilm. I've Xenar the writing on the wall, so we'll let Biogons be bygones. But since I'm a good Planar, I've started this pun thread here.

Feel free to join in the pun... I mean fun!

I did not mean to obscura the topic at hand on the other thread, but there was definitely some reciprocity failure for this type of humor.

Yes, seems like they couldn't stand the constant agitation.

Stephen Gandy, head bartender here, will approve of this thread. He has a good one in the Contax thread on Caemraquest: “A few wartime German navy Kriegsmarine Contax have surfaced - damn I like puns.”

By contrast, we've taken on a new phase in this thread. We auto-focus only on jokes here! No puns will be sensored.

Is the wartime German navy Kriegsmarine Contax a... sub(miniature)? Does it have an auxiliary periscope viewfinder?

Even though this thread lets us go Freestyle, I miss Maco people go BaH in the other thread. It was just Amazon the reaction from some people. E Bay gum as they might say in Yorkshire.

I shutter to sync what the anti-punsters are syncing about this thread. Probably not giving 125th of a second thought of it.

Now, now... We should not be negative and fall to their level. It's best we rise above it all, and swing our perspective towards the positive. Nobody wants to go around with a dark cloth over their head, lamenting discontinued film, right?

Fuji's price increase goes against the grain. I see a certain resentment has developed.

Groan! Some comments should be stopped down. Still the humor is quite wide open. These are probably double entendre rather than Puns. I'm not very focused I guess.

If it's more double entendre than puns, we need to double exposure of this thread so more punsters can join in!

The plaubel-M is we wista price of film was cheaper. Unfortunately, no A-mount of zenza like dreaming will reverse this issue.

As a PRACTIKA statement I think there are latent images buried in the film thread needing developing. Once developed things can be fixed and the discussion can advance. The conversation was thrown off sprocket due to puns agitating the participants. Sonnar or Lentar photographers need to focus on the sensitivity of the film crisis. Most participants are on one Knee begging for Fuji film. We needn't be a chip on Fujifilm's shoulder. Sorry if I went against the grain on this one.

I still like the old shaggy dog story (which contains a pun) about two street photographers walking down the street. As they walk they pass a homeless guy sitting on the ground with a hat in front of him and a few coins in it. One guy stops but the other ignores him and keeps walking. A few minutes later he catches up and the first guy says "What did you give him?" "Oh", says the second guy "f5.6 at 1/125th"

Agfa as I can tell, film may be becoming a bourgeois concept. It's a bridge camera too Ferrania for a lot of people. A dox on Fujifilm for raising their prices.

I once knew a photographer who was very small of stature but had a very big personality and was full of his own importance.

But personally, I thought he was a total "pinhole".

The same guy once tried to take a landscape photo in bright sunlight at F1.4 for 2 seconds using ISO 800.

He overexposed himself as a complete fraud.

Same guy only had one eye. Fortunately for him he could use his other eye to make photos but the thing is he was a drinker and when he got drunk he used to sing karaoke and make a complete monocle of himself.

At this point, as they used to say in the old music halls when a stand up delivered his weak punchline: ......."Boom, boom"

Comment 29! We are on a Roll. Can we make it to 36?

Let's give it a tripod and we'll get there in a flash.

Just make sure not to cross-thread. Very important for both lenses and bedsheets.

I'm sure one of my lenses is promiscuous. It mounts almost anything with an adapter.

Stock photography is for those who like to follow the herd. Usually one small stop before being put out to pasture.

When recording incidents, reportage should get refracts right. No dodging the issues.
