Cranes on the Skyline

I always find cranes on a city skyline to be interesting subjects and picture elements. I guess they somehow embody the dynamism and impermanence of cities. Clearly from this set there are many opportunities in Hong Kong as it turns out (unsurprisingly). I will not say I am obsessed by them but apparently...............

I feel sure others will have examples too. Feel free to post away if you got 'em.

Mike I had no idea that the 90mm APO Lanthar was quite THAT good. That is some sharp shot.

I am not sure if this qualifies as a crane or not (possibly it could be called a derrick - which I think is often a kind of floating crane anyway) but I will throw it in anyway as I like it.

And a monochrome and more tightly cropped similar photo to a color shot I posted below in my first series. I like the way this one somehow focuses attention on the crowded busyness and vertical clutter.
