I was tempted to bid on this eBay listing for Ilford papers, until I came across this photo in the listing. What do you think? here is the eBay listing BTW:

That, my friends, is some expensive card stock. Doubt this ends in a bidding war...

I watch. If someone bids on it, not knowing it is ruined.... I really don't know what to say except 'wow'.

WOW! this reminds me of an anecdote from my monochrome teacher where the whole class wanted to share cost to buy photo paper...some wise guy bought a box of paper and then distributed the paper in normal room light....

This has to be a wind up surely!

Unless they thought the paper was for inkjet printing.

Might still be useful as a paper base for alternative printing processes - run it through the fixer first and you have (as stated above) good card stock.

It was me ... I happen to know that the pic was taken with a safe light and a D700 set on 25600 ISO and f1.4 lens!

From the exif:
NIKON D40
1/125 at f/5.6
ISO 200

I'd be interested to see the darkroom with EV11 under safelight conditions...

Auction is cancelled now. Apparently someone told the seller about his mistake.

At least we know there are no pictures involved.
I cringe more when I saw an ad showing the back of a vintage camera open, with film still in it unrolled.

Looks like the seller cancelled the item. I guess someone gave them a heads up and they did the right thing.

You never know. There was another problem that might have gotten it pulled:

"Condition: New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item…"

And from the description: "Darkroom Photographic 5x7in Paper ilford Glossy
Only about 6 sheets missing out of the 250 sheets!"

(my emphasis)

That's probably not it, but I do hope that that's why it was pulled – because then it might be re-listed.
