All in all, it's just another brick in the wall.

Well, there's the so-called Panda M6. This is the Sunburned Panda M5. Either that, or taking red-headed stepchild a bit too literally.

I wouldn’t use it for unobtrusive street photography!

Why does a fireman wear red trousers? To keep his pants up!

Why is the M5 painted red? To make colored pictures?

Thinking positively, perhaps it's an anti-theft measure!

Great! On par with many of the Leica 'special edition' cameras.

I don't dislike it, but I would prefer the exact same camera but then painted black.

Erik.

I think it looks less bulky than a standard M5. Possibly not smart to paint it red inside the film chamber. And also, maybe it should be in the FSU section

Not for me. I see it as an ugly Leica.

I like that they strip the body down to the brass base before painting.

I think it looks really good just in brass!

They should do it with an M4-P, M6 or M7. It would make that obnoxious red logo stand out a bit less. I'd call it reverse-stealth.

Obviously intended for use where professional cameras are banned. And very inconspicuous beside all those mobile phones...

The only thing I don't like about it is the meter is non-working. At $885, compared to an M3, 2, 4, the price is right, and you get a one-of-a-kind camera.

I like it but the non working meter is a bummer. Check out their other offerings, they have a gorgeous blue M4(?)
