Canon SLR 50mm f1.8 open image thread

A few of us are using this lens whether in FD, or EF mount.
I really like its personality so here is a thread to share those images from any version of the lowly "Plastic Fantastic" or its variants!
Please post your images.

It's a good lens. These were taken w/ an AE-1 Program and developed in Acufine (Arista 100 EDU film), which is a very sharp, almost grainless developer. My preference is for the FD 50 1.4 though. Even better was my H 50 2 Nikkor. Loved that lens, and often shot it on the AE-1 w/ an adapter, which got a lot of strange looks because I left the AI prong on the lens. You can usually pick up the FD 50 1.8 for around $10 to $15, which is quite a deal.

These were taken w/ the same camera, lens and film, but this time I developed it in Microdol X at full strength. This was one of my favorite film and developer combinations. Again, it's almost grainless, but you can see the tonality is vastly different (partly due to having much better outdoor lighting) . You lose a stop of exposure when you use this developer at full strength, so you have to meter it at ISO 50 and ISO 25 w/ a yellow filter, but that was no big deal.

Jamie Thank you!

Hi Steve
This last bunch the links work. If you right click on the images in the links, you can copy the address and insert them into the thread using the little picture icon.
Maybe you don't want to have them hot linked which is fine.
It would be nice for the thread.

Been many years since I've used my Canon 50mm f1.8 S.C. FD lens. Got it brand new on a Canon TX in 1976. Still have it in the basement, attached to the TX which is in need of a CLA.

This picture was taken in the summer of '76 on a cross country road trip that ended on the California coast.

The vast majority of my pictures are taken with the EF 50 f/1.8 on an EOS 5
