Bay 1 lens caps

I'd like a lens cap for my Rollei 3.5T. Aside from Ebay, does anyone know a good place to source one? Doesn't have to be original or metal, plastic will do. They seem a bit thin on the ground, Google doesn't find much.

I use a 40.5 skylight filter mounted backwards with a little felt.

Try some of the places that seem to carry TLR accessories, like: ritzcam.com, manfredschmidt.com, or pacificrimcamera.com (I believe those are all the correct site names).

I think the "correct" lens cap for the T is a rigid black plastic push-on model, rather than one of the hinged metal ones or the stamped aluminum model for the Rolleicord.

Thanks for that. Should have mentioned I'm in the UK so a European supplier would be best, but those US sites may come in useful.

That's not a bad idea, might do that if I can't find a cap anywhere.

Manfred Schmidt has them: http://www.manfredschmidt.com/rolleiaccess.html (scroll down to "Lens Covers"). I bought a couple of small Rolleiflex items from him a few years ago and found him good to deal with. Definitely easier than ebay.

I know this thread is pretty old but instead of creating a new thread I just wanted to continue this one.

I am also trying to acquire a lens cap for my Rolleiflex Standard 622, would a bay 1 push ons lens cap fit on the two lenses ? http://www.ebay.de/itm/400862324274?...MakeTrack=true

I think a bayonet 1 lens cap would be too big. One source on the internet specifies a 28.5mm push-on filter size:

Not sure I know which model this is. Does it have bayonet mounts on both lenses?

An Old Standard 622 doesn't have bayonets. The cap is a slip-on. The hole in the middle clicks over the post in between the lenses.

The Yashica ones fit bay 1. That's what I use on my MX.

For my Yashica Mat I have one of the plastic ones from China purchased on eBay - not expensive ($5 or something like that). Works fine. The hinged metal bayonet models are often available for more - e.g. $25 or so - not real cheap (nice to have though).

I have an Automat 4 and found an aluminum push on lockable cap for both lenses at the annual antique camera fair in Melbourne, having failed on eBay. I'd second pacific rim camera. Read their amusing history on the web site.

On my Yashica D I use a pair of 34mm generic lens caps, one for each lens.

Thank you all for the comments, but searching for a lens cap which fits my Rolleiflex Standard 622 is really difficult, at least here in Germany.
I will try to locate a camera fair and see if I spot a fit lens cap.
