The 640xxx F and the 1959 SP

There is, no doubt many of you on this thread will know, a beautiful ad Nikon did sometime early in the life of the F, featuring the F and the SP together. Does anyone around here happen to own both a 1959 SP and a 1959 F? I ask because, frankly, that would be cool. Posting some pics of these two together would provide hours of teeth-gnashing pleasure.

To answer your question, I don't happen to own both a 1959 F & a 1959 SP. Actually I don't own either one of them.

However, I recently saw the ad you are talking about. It is indeed a cool ad.
At the darkroom I go to, the instructor brought in some old photo magazines. Some of the magazines were sold during the period of both the F and the SP. I specifically remember looking at that ad in amazement.

Good luck in finding someone who owns both cameras.

Ellen
