It's a Chrysler Crossfire. There's a reason they're not well-known. Actually several reasons.

Amazing effect... maybe not a standard Lexus color, but a few years ago Ford offered some variations on that theme.

Hey, Doug, Iím pretty sure youíre right about it not being a standard color.

It was like a translucent pink mother of pearl color painted over chrome (or something like that). If the sun had been brighter it would have hurt my eyes to look at it.

All the best,
Mike

Might be a wrap. Seem to be increasingly common, and a lot cheaper and easier than paint. Either way, I hope it comes with safety glasses. Yipe.

^^ With a Lambo V-10 in the middle, I'd R8 it "fast"! ^^
I wonder if that side body panel is removable for, say, maintenance access?

And it's now 13 years old -- we still get comments on it!

^ Very nice, Doug, love the red color. Is that you? Is that your car?

Sony A7III, Sigma 45mm f2.8 lens
Yokohama, Japan - March 2020

I donít know what year this Ferrari was built (or even what model it is), I assume it leans more toward newer than older so Iíll post it here.

All the best,
Mike

Mike, thanks, but not my car... The guy in the Mazda is the owner, David, who lives a few blocks away. At this point last year I didn't know him, but stopped to snap a pic of his car and he came out of the house to chat. And he demonstrated the interesting roof mechanism.

That red Ferrari is gorgeous... but then most Ferraris are!

Proof that it is possible to make pretty cars today, even if few do. Sweet.

Thank you, gentlemen; it does draw some positive comments... It also seems to be a radar "magnet".

Doug, that car looks amazing! Iím actually feeling envious. The color is unlike any Porsche color Iíve seen before. Is that a custom paint job?

All the best,
Mike

Thanks, Mike! No, a standard color for a few years, I think now not available. "Graphite Blue". I rather like that it's somewhat subdued, not flashy in-your-face....

Another Porsche Cayman, this one also on Main Street but in Canmore Alberta rather than in Idaho. Color is "Racing Yellow".
