Are you experiencing any focus shift on the VC 28? Do you have the M-mount version. I'm planning to get myself a copy of the VC 28/2 this sunday but I've read quite a bit about focus shift ob the M-mount version.

Is this the case with your copy?

I have the M-mount version. There may be some focus-shift, but I think it's blown entirely out of proportion. Buy the lens.

Completely agree. Best VC lens I've owned. Great performance for the price, and a great combo with the M8.

Indeed the Ultron 2/28 and the Heliar 2.5/75 are a great set for an M8.

i really do not see the need to upgrade..does the m9 or M make better shots that way surpass these? i doubt it.
