Thumbs up

I'm in! I missed the last couple of rounds due to vacation, or just not seeing the thread pop-up in the forum in time. Thanks again for organizing everything Stephan!

Short of buying a vacuum easel, does anyone have a good solution for making borderless prints on the Ilford postcard stock?

They might be flat enough not to need any easel.

Not in my experience...

I'm thinking this might work though.

Hello,

as of now, we have 27 participants. Except for one, everyone should have received a mail from me with a reply to his/her mail. If not, please contact me here over RFF-message.

27... we still have some free slots!

I don't think I received an email confirmation. I just re-sent my info.

I'm new to the forum. I've just sent Stephen my e-mail, so count me in. Undoubtedly, some amazing photos will grace our fridge this summer! Can't wait.

I contact printed mine last time, so didn't have to worry about it -

But makes me wonder if you could just put the paper in a contact printer/under glass to hold it flat. Focus might be a bit tricky and not sure how much resolution would suffer. from the glass..so may depend on the image and what your intent is with it.

Otherwise, some re-positionable double-sided tape might work.

I don't understand how the easel on B&H is supposed to work...anyone used one?

Still looking for some subjects to complete my photo...nothing but rain in the forecast so might be a challenge.

Inkjet printing postcards

Does anybody have any experience using the Avery postcard stock and printing them on an inkjet printer?

33! Still one week to go!

I already reduced my candidates for a postcard to less than 10.000...

No, but isn't that way more expensive than using a printing service?

As a reference, I paid GBP 0.624 (USD 0.82) each for a batch of 50 from MOO last time. I would not call it “cheap”, but I was very happy with the quality and figured that it was less than what one would pay for a standard postcard in the store on flimsy glossy paper.

Which reminds me though, I still need to figure out which picture to send!

When you include ink and paper, probably.

I finally chose Staples. Decent price and I can pick them up the next day.
