Lately I've been pretty happy with my digital b&w...I'm using a Nikon D700 and Nik SilverEfex Pro. I compare, at least on-screen, to my Tri-X stuff, and it's similar enough that I'm glad I didn't have to scan and spot to get the same result.

I have to say, though, I do feel like I'm cheating a little bit. I can't shake that feeling off.

Nikon D1h. B&W was done be selecting color mode as B&W in Nikon capture 4. Lens was a 35mm F2.5 E. ISO was 800.

this shows that an 'old' D1H plus the awesome Nikon Capture make marvels (I still have not found better than my D70 + Nikon Capture myself too)
