lens cases/holders for noct/75 lux

I'll bring my 75 'lux as well. Yeah, I'm only up for lunch and maybe an hour or hour and a half max, but I can go through 5 rolls or more in that time ;)

How about noon, Pete's?
Warren, I'll be the one who looks like a complete tool. Ted will be the one hunched over trying to carry both a Big Bertha and a Noct. Carl's younger, and he doesn't have a Noct., so he'll be less hunched over. :)

Noon at Peet's Coffee in the Ferry Building work for me. :)

I'll be conspicous by my lack of Leica gear :p.

Carl, we missed you. It's too bad since Ted was hoping to trade his Noctilux for just about anything. At one point he offered to trade it for a Digital Rebel, but the guy wanted the box and papers too, which Ted didn't have on him.

I'm sorry guys...I got tied up shooting some studio work on Sutter, time flies when your dealing with deadlines.
After shooting with a borrowed 501CM I'm thinking of selling all my leica gear and going all medium format, god damn hah

Mike, how did you get online so fast :)?

Carl, I was just talking to Mike and the other guys that I need to dust off my Hassy 500CM and go shooting with it.

Wait till you see the negatives. Not as easy for your street stuff, but if you do sell the 75mm let me know!:D

I've been using one for a couple weeks now, I've been milling over what gear I would miss the least.
Probably the M8, but if I sold the M8 it would make more sense to invest in a nice DSLR, I don't know, I give up hah.

Carl

Carl

In a few weeks or so I might trade you my minty Noct for your M8.

You're probably getting docked 10% on your assignments for not using a hipster film camera in your classes ;)

But then I'd have no M8!

You can always trade me your noctilux ;)

Mike

Sometimes those DSLRs really intrigue me and I just have to have one :D

Warren, it was great meeting you and the everyone else.

Mike,

And I'm very happy to meet you too. I really liked your little Leica. It felt great in the hand. I guess that's the dangerous part of these get-togethers, we get to see and drool on the great gear that you guys have. BTW, which model was it and which lens did you have on it?

Ted,

Thank for telling me about today.

It was a beautiful day to be out.

Hi Warren,
It's a Leica III with a Summar on it. I wish the M-series maintained the same size as the Barnacks, but with the M viewfinder and mount. Next time we should have a medium format walk around.

Hi Warren

Hi Warren

Yes, it was a great day, and a great location to try some wide open shots with the lux 75. On my way back, I circled back through the main Ferry building, and took more photos of the classical quartet, I have the flutists contact info., for sharing of the photos, of course.
