so it's time to move onto building my next kit! :)

But right now, I have my R, a 35 1.7, 50 1.7, 75 2.5 (all and the CV lenses - all Ultrons?) and a I-50 collapsible for a super small option.

I've been blasting through rolls of film like crazy. It's like rediscovering film...
 
I don't get it.

I could do fine with just one or two lenses and one body.

Or two bodies with a one lens each for quick FOV change.
 
Heck, I have a kit for each bag... and just when I think I have too much gear, I go out and buy another bag. ;)
 
So...you're saying one body and one or two lenses.

I say one body and 3 focal lengths, with a doubling up of the 50mm so that I can do a very tiny form factor with the collapsible.

Nice, but isn't CV 75 is a Heliar?, not Ultron and 50 is 1.5, not 1.7 and Nokton, correct? So just one Ultron, - 35/1.7 - great lens - I used to have it. Others are good too from what I hear - lets see some pics now!!
 
I have the I-50 set up with several rubber bands so it doesn't go all the way in. It's working out well. Having a camera that is less than 1.5" or so thick is very nice. Reminds me of the folders from the 1950's and earlier.

Next up would be something with AE on it. I'm looking at an R2a as the next body. yes, I know I have to get the M-adapter, but the LTM lenses are also cheaper so I don't mind having to leave an adapter on the camera. I don't switch lenses like mad - if I were truly needing speed in all aspects I would be shooting with my DSLR's - so this will work out nicely.

The first page of photos tagged "rangefinder" on my flickr are all from the R and everything but the 50 Nokton (which I just got).

My fault - thus my question about whether they were Ultrons or not :). Those are the lenses with the corresponding max apertures, though, so that's what I have.

I just added the tags to the black and white's I've done, too. These are almost all done while I'm walking to/from work (which is a short and regular route). I hope to do some shooting elsewhere - the city, perhaps - after school is done next week.

I decided to stick with the lenses that fit the existing framelines. Eventually I'll be on the lookout for wider lenses, probably like a 28 or really go out there with a 24 or 15. But for now I feel happy with a nice, small kit which I can use almost anywhere.

My Bessa R kit is : CV 35mm f2.5 , CV 50mm f1.5 Nokton, and CV 90mm f3.5 APO-Lanthar, plus a russian viewfinder for the 90mm, and a "collapsible but not to do" 50mm f2 Summitar

Looks like a 90mm will complete the framline that you can use on your Bessa R!! But to be honest, I think the 35 and 50 are probably what I will use most with the kit. Glad to hear that you are happy with it and the pictures in your flickr pages are really nice!
