Nikon FM3a w/ Nikkor 50mm/1.4 AI'd Tri-X film
Nikon FM3a w/ CV 58mm/1.4 Fuji 800 color and Hoya ND4 filter
Nikkormat FTN w Nikkor 50mm/1.4 non-AI Tmax 3200 film

Total cost to purchase used in VG to EXC condition? $1125:)

FM3a's are great with their automations and the whole mechanical speeds... Not long ago (a few years) if I remember well, their price was higher... I never owned one but have wanted to for years, and I'd love to see my FE2 jealous with a good reason... They'd make a good couple... Great buy, Akiva... Evil is good!

Cheers,

Juan

Are there any film SLRs that aren't a bargain these days? It seems like every body I liked back in the 90s is dirt cheap these days.

Sure, I will sell you my Nikkormat for a Grand.:D:D

I'm not stupid... :D (I swear)

However, the prices of things like the F3 and the Leica R4/R5 are dirt cheap these days. I've never been an SLR fan, but these cameras are now the cheapest way to get into serious photography.
